Anand A. Kekre (Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer)
Anand drives strategy and business execution for Anoosmar, where he brings over 17 years of technical innovation and executive leadership experience in security and data management. Prior to Anoosmar, Anand was head of Pune operations of McAfee (now acquired by Intel). He came to McAfee in 2008 through the acquisition of Reconnex, where he founded India R&D center as Country Manager and built an outstanding engineering team that successfully delivered Reconnex’s market-leading Data Loss Prevention (DLP) product. Prior to Reconnex, Anand had a distinguished career spanning 10 years with VERITAS Software (now Symantec) in India where he joined as a founding engineer in 1995 and held various senior technology leadership positions including Chief Architect and Technical Director of Storage and Server Management business unit and worked on initiatives and strategies involving research and rapid prototyping. He also had short stints at IBM Toronto Labs, IBM India and Ensim.
Anand holds 50 US patents in data protection, data security, storage virtualization, disaster recovery and clustering. Anand holds Master’s degree in computer science and engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay (Mumbai) and Bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from SGSITS Indore.
Ankur Panchbudhe (Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer)
Ankur drives the technology direction and R&D efforts for Anoosmar. He brings over 10 years of product research, development and strategy experience in data protection & security, content management/analysis and storage software. Prior to Anoosmar, Ankur was Software Architect for the market-leading Data Loss Prevention (DLP) product at McAfee, where he came through acquisition of Reconnex. Before Reconnex, Ankur worked for Symantec in their Data Protection and Archiving groups, and with VERITAS Software in their Volume Management group.
Ankur holds 17 US patents and has more than 10 pending in the fields of data protection, information security, electronic discovery, archiving, content management, compliance software and storage software.
Ankur did his post-graduation in computer science and engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay (Mumbai) and his Bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) Nagpur.
